Organizational FAQ's

What leagues do the Pumas Play in?
The New Berlin Pumas baseball play in the MAJORybl, WYSBL, or WBA league for Baseball.


What are the Residency Requirements?
The league we play in does not have residency requirements. However, we are a New Berlin based youth organization that exists to serve the youth of our local community. We require at least 6 of our players on each team to be New Berlin residents or attend a New Berlin public or private school. Thus, roster spots are available on all teams for non-resident players. 

What are the 2026 season age requirements?
For all baseball teams in the 2026 season U6-U14, no player can be older than their respective age bracket as of May 1st, 2026
(Whatever your player's age is on May 1st, 2026 is the age level they will play at!)

Players can always play up an age level, but never down an age level. 

What are the fees associated with the Pumas?
All fees/fundraising requirements, etc. are clearly outlined in the Player/Parent Agreement document. Acknowledgment of this document is required upon tryout registration. Please ensure you read this document thoroughly during the registration process it will provide a lot of answers for you! If clarification is needed for any reason, reach out to [email protected].

We have completed tryouts, now what?
The head coach or organization representative, for the team you are trying out for, will be in touch by phone or email within 72hrs of your tryout. You'll be notified of a decision either way. The coach or representative may also call or email to take another look at some players to fill final spots on the roster.

We made a team! What's next?
Once you have been offered a roster spot on a team, you'll be sent an invoice for a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your roster spot. This must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice and can easily be paid online! If the deposit is not received, you may forfeit your roster spot. This $100 deposit will be applied to your registration fees. Invoices for the remainder of registration fees will be sent at a later date, with payment plan options available.
