Baseball FAQ's
What's this 6U Development Baseball Team all about?
We select 12–16 players based on our available coaching staff, facilities, and field availability.
The cost is $250 and includes the same quality hat/jersey/pants that our older kids use!
Fall (August–October):
We try to get together 1–2 times per month for practices, either outdoors or at our indoor warehouse in New Berlin. These sessions are not mandatory, as our organization strongly believes in supporting multi-sport athletes and encouraging kids to participate in a variety of activities outside of the baseball season.
Winter (January–March):
We resume meeting 1–2 times per month, utilizing both Burghardt's indoor turf and our indoor warehouse in the New Berlin Industrial Park. During these practices, our focus is on individual skill development, fundamentals, and building confidence.
Spring (April–May, and sometimes into June):
As the weather improves, we move back outdoors for 1–2 practices per month. By this point, the players have developed a solid foundation, allowing us to incorporate scrimmages into their development. Our goal is to play at least four scrimmages, whether that's against another community's 6U team, our Puma 7U team, or by dividing our own players into teams for some friendly competition.
We typically wrap up the season with a fun team party to celebrate the kids' hard work and thank all of our families for their support throughout the year.
We also STRONGLY encourage all of our 6U players to continue playing recreational baseball. It's a great opportunity for them to apply the skills they've developed while continuing to enjoy the game in a fun environment. Before long, they'll be trying out for our 7U team for the next season!
My coach contacted me - I've made the team... now what?
The organization uses Team Snap as it's main form of communication and staying organized. You'll receive an invite to join your team and an invoice to put down your $100 deposit to lock in your spot!

6U - $250
7U - $700
8U - $750
9U - $800
10U - $850
11U - $900
12U - $900
13U - $1000
14U - $1000
This includes practice field fees / league fees / tournaments / insurance & 2 tickets to our Beer & Wine fundraiser held every January.
Uniforms will be extra. Each team may also do individual fundraisers to help offset the cost of extra tournaments or experiences.

When and where is your tournament?
Our baseball tournament usually aligns with Armed Forces Weekend (2nd weekend in May).
It takes place at Malone & Calhoun parks in New Berlin, WI.

Can my child play other sports?
Yes, we encourage your son to be a multi-sport athlete. We just ask that that baseball be their main sport from the beginning of April until the end of July!
