Coach Sparapani FundIn December of 2020, the Pumas family suffered a sudden and unexpected loss. Eric Sparapani was an assistant coach on our 11U Boys baseball team that his son Ethan plays on, and also stepped up to be the head coach of our brand new 10U Black Girls Fastpitch team that his daughter Celia is playing on. Eric's love for the Pumas showed both on and off the field. He was a huge part of our 11U team winning the league Championship in 2020, and he was so excited about all the things the organization is working on to improve our facilities and being a part of the impact we are able to make on so many young kids in our community through baseball and fastpitch. One thing that makes the Pumas so unique is that when something happens to our Pumas Family, we come together and the outpouring of support for our families is overwhelming. We received numerous inquiries of how people can help the family. His wife Kim insisted that they do not want any funds for their family, but rather Eric would have wanted any donations to go to the New Berlin Pumas. We are so incredibly thankful for this gesture, and we want to ensure his legacy is honored in the Pumas story. We are proud to officially announcing the Coach Sparapani Fund. This fund is going to be used to provide improved facilities and equipment for our players. This is Coach's way of being able to continue his incredible impact on future generations of Pumas, and it will never be forgotten.
